At a distance of about 350 km from Mumbai, Ganpatipule is one of the best places to visit for tourists. Apart from the beach, the major attraction here is the famous 400-year-old Ganesh temple. The Swayambhu Lord Ganesha found here is about 1600 years old. This place got its name from the name of this temple. Although tourists come here throughout the year, relatively more tourists come here from November to February, because the weather is very pleasant at this time.   • Sindhudurg

Sindhudurg is one of the least populated districts in Maharashtra. That’s why you will get to see fewer crowds here. It was the great Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Shivaji who chose this fort as his fort to eliminate the enemies of the European and Siddi conquerors.
